*When we were children, our “why” came from innocence and curiosity.*

Why is the sky blue?
Why do birds fly?
Why do people cry?
Why does the moon follow us at night?

Back then, “why” was beautiful.
It was the language of wonder,
the beginning of learning,
the innocence of a soul trying to understand life.

But as we grow older,
the meaning of “why” slowly changes.
One wrong decision becomes:
“Why did I choose this path?”
One betrayal becomes:
“Why did I trust them?”
One failed dream becomes:
“Why did life not turn out the way I imagined?”

And suddenly,
the same word once filled with curiosity
becomes heavy with regret, pain, confusion, and longing.

We ask why because we chose the wrong friends,
the wrong partner,
the wrong career,
the wrong priorities,
or sometimes because life simply unfolded differently from our expectations.

And perhaps the mystery of life is this:
No one truly escapes the prison of “why.”

Even the wisest person still questions life in silent moments.
Why did things change?
Why did people leave?
Why did suffering arrive?
Why did prayers go unanswered?

But maybe maturity is realizing that not every “why” will receive an answer.
Some questions exist not to be solved,
but to shape us,
humble us,
and deepen our understanding of ourselves and others.

Because life is not always about knowing why things happened.
Sometimes life is about learning how to continue living,
even without the answers.
