A fir_ing inci_dent near Clifton’s Do Talwar area in Karachi left five people inju_red, police said.

According to officials, four vict_ims have recorded their statements, and all inju_red individuals are from Gujranwala, Punjab.

The group was travelling in a rickshaw as part of a Faizan-e-Madina convoy, heading to Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine for a visit.

One injured person stated that arm_ed men signalled them to stop, but the rickshaw driver continued, after which the sus_pects opened fi_re and snat_ched mobile phones.

Police are investi_gating whether the inci_dent was a ro_bbery attempt or had another motive.
